We started
producing kilims in 1987 as Bekmez Textile
Co. In 1989 we turned to producing area rugs
exclusively. Showing a strong growth, in
1991, increased its sale 10 fold since it
was founded and again in this year, Bekmez
Textile's name was changed to Ozbek Textile.
Impressively, in the time period between
1993 and 1995, Ozbek Textile exported the
highest number of BCF polypropylene rugs
among manufacturers in Turkey to Russian
Federation and Turkic Republics. In 2002,
Ozbek Textile merged with another major
manufacturer to form Yuksel Carpet Limited
Corporation which is capable of
manufacturing 1.8 million square meter of
rugs per year. In 2005, Yuksel Carpets
opened its United States branch under the
name of Bekmez International. |

It continues producing rugs that are sold to
many corners of the world with qualities
ranging from 150,000 points per square meter
to 1.5 million points per square meter. Our
product line includes everything from wall
to wall, area rugs to custom made qualities
